Important Notice for .dev.cv and .dev.bd Domain Registrants

At Hostever, we are committed to ensuring that all domain registrations comply with the policies established by the respective domain registry. Please read the following guidelines carefully if you have registered a .dev.cv or .dev.bd domain through us.

.dev.cv and .dev.bd Domain Activation Policy

All newly registered .dev.cv and/or .dev.bd domains must be connected to a live and publicly accessible website within 30 days of the registration date.

This requirement is intended to ensure that registered domains are actively used for their intended purpose.

If Your Domain Is Not Activated

If your domain is not found to be live within 30 days of registration:

  • The domain may be removed from your Hostever account.

  • The domain may be released and made available for public registration again.

  • Once released, the domain may be registered by another party.

  • Hostever cannot guarantee that the same domain will be available for re-registration.

To avoid losing your domain, we strongly recommend that you complete your website setup, configure your DNS, and make your website publicly accessible as soon as possible after registration.

.dev.bd Domain Usage Policy

Please note that .dev.bd domains are intended exclusively for personal developer websites and personal portfolio websites.

The following types of usage are not permitted:

  • Business or corporate websites

  • E-commerce websites

  • Commercial products or services

  • Company or organizational websites

  • Any website primarily intended for commercial or revenue-generating activities

Registrants are responsible for ensuring that their use of the domain complies with all applicable registry policies and regulations.

Suspension, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Failure to comply with the above policies or any applicable registry requirements may result in your domain being suspended, cancelled, or removed without prior notice, in accordance with the registry's policies.

Please note that no refund will be issued if a domain is suspended, cancelled, removed, or otherwise becomes unavailable due to:

  • Violation of the applicable registry policies.

  • Failure to activate a .dev.cv and/or .dev.bd domain within the required 30-day period.

  • Misuse of a .dev.bd domain for commercial or unauthorized purposes.

  • Any other breach of the registry's terms and conditions.

By registering a .dev.cv or .dev.bd domain through Hostever, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these policies.
